Bespoke wedding stationery & signage
The brief
For this Christmas wedding, the couple requested a full set of wedding stationery, venue signage and an animated ‘save the date’ which they could send to their guests digitally.
The formal invitation featured personalised illustrations meaningful to them and specific to their day, tying in with their colour scheme of burgundy, forest green and gold, while capturing the elegance of their venue and it’s grounds.
Save the Date
In advance of the formal invitation, the couple wanted to send a digital Save the Date that they could quickly send to all of their prospective guests. Having seen my animated work, they asked if I could put a short animated piece together that would convey their excitement for the big day.
As owners of an independent coffee-shop turned restaurant, they were keen for the clip to make a playful reference this, while keeping it’s message short and sweet yet eye-catching, and were thrilled with the result.
Signage
The venue signage included:
An illustrated welcome sign (A1, board) which was displayed on an easel at the venue’s entrance. Here the illustrated border focused on capturing a sense of the fairytale magic of their countryside venue.
The seating plan (A1 board) displayed on an easel within the dining area. The design here was kept elegant and succinct to allow for quick delivery of it’s information (see below).
Table signs (A5, card). These continued with the art nouveau inspired floral detailing of the welcome sign (see below).
